The Ministry of National Education revealed yesterday on the Calendar of the official examinations, tests and assignments for all stages of education for the academic year 2009/2010.
The ministry said that the operation falls within the valuation time course to ensure the effectiveness of teaching through the consolidation periods of evaluation and study and school holidays at the level of educational institutions "in order to achieve the expected goals of the reform of the educational system", the ministry also included a winter holiday and other periods in spring.
Abu Bakr Ben Bouzid, Minister of National Education,confirmed in correspondence to the directors of education .It was decided that the official conduct of examinations for each of a baccalaureate degree from 13 to 17 June 2010, and a certificate of intermediate education from 20 to 22 June and the end of the exam of Primary school(First session on Wednesday, June 9, and the second on Tuesday, 29 June 2010).
Concerning examinations, it was decided that the first test will be from 18 to October 29, 2009, and the second 08 to November 26, the exams between Nov. 29 and Dec. 3, the class Councils are held from 13 to 16 December, and organized to meet with parents of students with the educational team on Dec. 17 . In the second term on 17 January 2010 to 31 from the same month, and the second tests from 17 to 25 February 2010, the exams from 28 February to March 4, 2010, and the class Councils are held between 14 to 17 March, meeting with parents of students withTeachers are on March 18.
The Third Term tests will start in the primary education for the fifth year on Sunday 30 May, while the rest of the forms on Sunday, June 20.For intermediate education schools the beginning will be on Sunday, June 6 to Thursday June 10 for all levels .
For secondary education, it has been decided to conduct the first tests from 18 to 29 April and the second from 16 to 27 May, and exams from 30 May to 3 June, the complexity of the class Councils for the end of the school year during the period from the end of Term III tests until July 4.
Concerning the school holidays for the academic year 2009/2010, the Ministry of National Education said the beginning of work for the administrative staff, will be on Sunday, September 6th, for teachers on Sunday September 06 and on September 13 for students.
There are six holidays this school-year, including autumn holiday from October 29 to November 3, 2009, in winter, the first for 15 days from the December 17, 2009 to 3 January 2010, and the second for one week from 11 February to 16 February 2010.For the second term ,the first 15 days of March 18 to 4 April and the second for one week from 29 April to 4 May 2010. Summer holidays from July 4 evening for teachers, and two weeks later for the administrators.
